The popular Peach House Restaurant is situated in the Victorian Peach House that was built about 1895 to grow peaches and other fruit for Earl Ferrers who resided in Staunton Harold Hall at the time. The estate was sold off by the Ferrers family in 1955 and the new owner of the nursery, Stan Watson, used it to grow tomatoes in from 1955 to 1990. The nursery was then purchased by its present owner, Mark Earp, in 1990 who converted it into a restaurant in 1994. At that time it was just the original upper floor level with about 50 covers. That section was re-furbished in 2002 and then the lower half extension was added in 2016 which increased the amount of covers to 120.

The restaurant offers breakfasts, lunches and teas every day with a wide range of home-made foods ranging from toasties to pies, jacket potatoes, chilli and omelettes plus the traditional favourites such as haddock, gammon and scampi. There is also a daily specials board for something different.  Gluten free choices are also available and there are also very reasonably priced children's meals. Most of our ingredients are locally sourced.  We have recently introduced a local home-made pork sausage for our breakfasts and snacks and we now have locally-produced Needwood ice cream available in a large selection of flavours.

We have a large area outside for dining on warm sunny days which seats approx 68.  Inside there are approx. 92 seats available.  Tables are available on a first come, first served basis. There is no need to book unless it is for a very large party or you are wanting an afternoon tea.  Within the restaurant we also have an area where dogs are welcome (as long as their owner is on a lead and friendly!)

Coach parties are welcome by prior arrangement. Please contact Peach House Restaurant on 01332 865155 to discuss your requirements.
